TEAM SEACOAST

Team Seacoast Elite and Select Teams 2020-2021

Program characteristics of both the Elite and Select teams are similar. The goal for both the Elite and Select teams is to provide a comprehensive skills development program for the serious and committed hockey player that follows as closely as possible USA Hockey's American Development Model and the research and guidelines for Long-Term Athlete Development.

Team Seacoast has also assembled a talented Coaching Staff with a vast knowledge of the game. We are also extremely fortunate that  95% of our staff a has playing experience at the Collegiate and Professional level.

The program highlights: 

Mite Minor (2013) Elite team (only) / Mite Major (2012) - Elite and Select Teams

Player Tuition Cost: $2170.00

  • 2 practice sessions each week.
  • Practices and Skills are run by Team Seacoast coaches.
  • Elite Teams will play in the Elite 9 Hockey League (E9) League schedule is approximately 26-30 games (FULL ICE GAMES).
  • Select Teams will play in the Boston Hockey League (BHL) League schedule is approximately 26-30 games (FULL ICE GAMES).
  • If a Select Team is not a competitive match with the BHL, the team will play in the Valley League (35 league games) (FULL ICE GAMES).
  • Fees for E9/BHL/Valley League tournaments plus 1 independent tournaments and/or scrimmages to total approximately 35 games.
  • Warm ups and Workout T-shirt
  • Game Jerseys and Game Socks as well as Practice jersey and practice socks.

Excludes: Spartans Shells / Pants (Mandatory) /Spartans Gloves (Optional) . . . These items are purchased separately.

** Goaltender's Instruction: Goalie's will be trained one day per week by GDS goalie training

Length of the Season: Our regular practice sessions typically start the last weekend in August and go through February. Occasionally, we will have some ice in August if our teams are playing in an early season tournament. Games will start up the weekend after Labor Day and will end in early to mid March depending on how the individual teams fair in their season ending tournaments.

Practice Days/Times: These teams will practice Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays in approximately the 4:30 to 6:00pm time range. The youngest teams practicing in the earliest scheduled times. Practice times will be consistent throughout the season. There may be a slight adjustment to times once high school hockey starts, but it will then remain consistent throughout the remainder of the season.

Number of Games: Approximately 35 games. The E9 or BHL schedule is 26-30 games. The remainder of the schedule will be a tournament or independent scrimmages both home and away.
